There’s no “us” — just me. HR Hero for Hire is a one-person consultancy, run by yours truly. I believe in transparency: I’m not a big firm, and I don’t pretend to be. What I offer is agility, flexibility, and a personal service tailored to your needs. By working at a smaller scale, I avoid unnecessary overheads — which means you get professional, competitive HR support without compromise.
Global Experience 🌍
I am an accomplished HR professional with over 20 years’ experience, including leading an award-winning global team across the UK, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. My career has taken me into multi-faith, multi-ethnic, and multicultural environments, giving me deep insight into how people and organizations thrive.
Leadership in the Not-for-Profit Sector 🤝
Much of my work has been in the not-for-profit sector, where I’ve contributed to senior management teams on strategy, organizational development, and change management. I’ve also served on boards and committees, most notably as a director of one of the world’s largest relief and development charities, operating in over 40 countries.
Previous Roles 🎓
I have served as the Honorary Treasurer on the CIPD Board of Trustees, with responsibility for the Audit and Remuneration Committees. I’ve also been part of the Regional Leadership Team at Mosaic, part of The Prince’s Trust, where I worked to raise aspirations and self-esteem among young people in underserved communities.
